I have a life philosophy I’ve been working on.  And that life philosophy goes something like: “it doesn’t matter what the results are as long as you keep going.”  And what I mean by that is that we shouldn’t be making music to get a record deal.  We shouldn’t be writing in order to get published.  We shouldn’t be painting because we want to sell paintings.  We make things because that’s what pumps our hearts.  How the outside world reacts to those actions holds very little relevance in my opinion.
